Tip of the Day: Read Before You Sign!
Categories: Acting Tips, Daily Advice, Theme of the Week
Hey InstantCasters! Today’s tip involves a little thing I like to call…reading!
When giving your permission to ANY contract, in this case a reality TV contract, be sure to read the fine print. When you go out for a reality TV audition you may be overwhelmed by all the paperwork the producers throw at you. Don’t allow the quantity of paperwork to deter you from examining and understanding the fine print! Producers on reality TV shows want complete reign over footage they shoot of you. So, before you dive in, make sure that you are ok with the agreement!

I’ve never had a problem reading the fine print and/or between the lines. That is something everyone should consider before signing anything.
I agree with Angela. Anytime you are signing your name to any type of legal document or contract you should always read and understand what you are signing before you sign it.
Sometimes eliciting advice from an attorney is a good ida.
That’s what my agent is for. They go over the contract with me.
