BIOPIC - A film that dramatizes the life of an actual person or people. They try to portray a person with extreme accuracy, unlike films “based on a true story.” Biopics are considered some of the most demanding films, and they can also be gateways to critical acclaim. Traditionally comedic actors Will Smith and Jim Carrey both gained respect as dramatic actors after starring biopics Ali and Man on the Moon!
