Beer? Hot wings? The actual game? Come on, everyone knows that the best parts of the Superbowl are the commercials!
Or are they? This year’s Superbowl commercials may have ranged from clever to crude, but they definitely favored the crude. Where have the truly creative Superbowl commercials gone? Think Apple’s iconic “1984″ commercial, which inspired a million knock-offs.
However, I do love Alec Baldwin on 30 Rock, so it was awesome to him showing off his flair for comedy in this ad for Hulu:

I loved the crystal ball in the Doritos Commercial. Clever!
I’m not a football fan. However, I did try to watch some of the Superbowl this year. I really did not find the commercials to be clever at all. They weren’t funny. Nonetheless, I always look forward to seeing the person who will sing the National Anthem and whoever performs at half-time.
