Model Mayhem at NY “Next Top Model” Auditions

America’s Next Top Model should be re-named America’s Next Top Cripple after complete chaos broke lose at the New York City auditions on Saturday. The streets teemed with mobs of wannabe-models, 5″7 and under. Almost 10,000 girls overwhelmed security and were thrown into a frenzy after a man allegedly yelled that “a smoking car on the street was about to blow up.” Three people were arrested and four were treated by medics after literal model riots broke out!

    It is so sad that someone will cause all these people to go into a panic in NY. I hope everyone will be fine.

    There was no way anyone could have anticipated how many people would show up. The requirements were different so there were more than the usual number. Will the shoot be totally cancelled now in New York?

    After seeing the video, I am amazed that more prople didn’t get hurt. There was definately a need for more police.The video made me feel like I was right there and it was frightening.

    Just looking at the picture for the casting call, I wonder how many people got in for America’s Next top Model. unbelievable.

    The incident at “America’s Next Top Model” was frightening and will make someone wonder if all auditions are worth going to. However, stampedes don’t only happen at auditions.
