Exclusive sneak peek at Zac Efron in 17 Again!

One of the best perks of being in the casting world? Getting to see the hottest movies before they hit theaters!

I recently saw a sneak preview of the Zac Efron vehicle 17 Again, and it was one of the best teenage dramedies I’ve seen in years. Zac was already a huge star among the tween set, but now he’s going to be even bigger!

Although Matthew Perry kicks off the movie, Zac Efron takes over the film quickly and completely dominates it. He has amazing timing and charisma, and even outshined some of the well-known comics!

Zac has definitely come a long way since the High School Musical series, and this film gave him room to grow into a more diverse actor. Even if you’re not a Zac Efron fan now, go see this movie. By the end, you’ll walk out of the theater thinking he’s an Adonis.

He’s also on the cover of this month’s GQ, and in the interview he says:

“I never half-ass anything. And every time I do, it always comes back to haunt me. Whatever I’m focused on is what I will succeed at. When I was in school, I told myself I’d get good grades, and I got great grades. And when I started doing this- you learn. You can’t help but recognize what the people that are better than you do. Every film is a challenge. You have to acquire new skills. You have to put your ass out there. And that’s what I wanna do next.”

Still not convinced? 17 Again is worth checking out for the great performances and hysterical scenes from more established comedy talent like Leslie Mann, Thomas Lennon, and The Office’s Melora Hardin.

See you at the movies!
