Is Chace Crawford posed to be Hollywood’s next golden boy? Well, he’s got the looks – and a starring role on the CW’s hit show Gossip Girl. All he needs is a major film role and… oh, what’s that? He’ll be starring in the 2010 remake of Footloose?
That’s right, Chace Crawford is taking on Kevin Bacon’s famous role as Ren McCormack, the big city kid who finds that small town life isn’t up to his pace.
Also rumored to star? Heroes starlet Hayden Panettiere, Hairspray funny girl Amanda Bynes (perhaps filling Sarah Jessica Parker’s shoes in the original film?), and Dancing with the Stars pro Julianne Hough!
