WE will never know if Carrie Prejean would have won, will we? Although she is a young contestant, she should know that certain answers will elicit certain responses but, Donald Trump said that she didn’t show up and fulfill her contract obligations. That is not acceptable re pageant rules.
I have to agree with Sarah Pakin on this one. It’s not ACCEPTAble to make jokes of this sort about a 14 year old or 18 yrear old or anyone’s child for thAT MATTER. wHAT WAS HE THINKING? dIDN’T WE JUST GO THROUGH THIS WITH mILEY cYRUS ? The intended jokes are not funny and border on salacious and turn out cruel. A simple apology would hasve been more apopropriate. I once saw Jay Leno attack insult comic, Kathy Griffin and reduce her to tears after her plastic surgery because she had been cruel to one of his guests who was a child. whom he’d accused of getting drunk. She was only 10.
(continued). That ac tress was Dakota Fanning. Jay Leno thought that Griffin was being mean, so he attacked her personally by making fun of her plastic surgery. The audience also felt for Griffin and was made uncomfortable. There are no winners with nasty comments.
