We knew it was coming…but saddd! Oprah Winfrey confirmed that she is ending her successful daytime talk show in September 2011. She told the press “I love this show. This show has been my life. And I love it enough to know when it’s time to say goodbye. Twenty-five years feels right in my bones, and it feels right in my spirit. It’s the perfect number, the exact right time.”

We understand Oprah…it’s time for YOU to sit back, relax, and enjoy the fruits of your labor…but that’s not to say we won’t miss you! Oprah will concentrate on her OWN network, a cable channel that represents her name & will premiere in January 2011.

Ok ok ok… we know it JUST came out last night at midnight…but we also know some of you twi-hard fans went to see it! So, tell us…what’d you think? Critics are saying that the most notable difference between Twilight and New Moon is the visual flair since a new director came on board the franchise. “Director Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass) crafted New Moon with a polished look…particularly in the action sequences of werewolves vs. vampires.”

Precious star Gabourey Sidibe is the talk of the town these days: She’s got the attention of Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry, who were both so impressed by her performance in Precious that they became executive producers of the independently made movie. You need to hear this story: You may have heard of the new feature film Precious now out in theaters. While the cast of Precious features big-time stars Mo’Nique and Mariah Carey, the shining star is new actress Gabby Sidibe.  CBS Evening News Anchor Katie Couric reports twenty-six year-old Gabourey Sidibe is not your typical girl to get cast in a feature film. But then again, not many plus-sized, African-American girls are. Sidibe says “It’s empowering. It’s like as much confidence as I have, there’s still that little fat girl that lives inside of me,” said Sidibe. “Because everyone told me that I wouldn’t make anything of myself until I lost 100 pounds.”
