This year we’re excited to see so many new female stars  featured in network TV shows. Zooey Deschanel is starring in FOX’s New Girl. Whitney Cummings is co-creator of CBS’s 2 Broke Girls and starring in her own NBC show Whitney this fall. Here’s all the info so you can check out these leading ladies:

I saw her at a small improv theater in Denver when she was on tour and doing small shows…all before she was a regular on Chelsea Lately. Now, she has a starring role as a secretary on NBC’s Free Agents: it already premiered and is getting great buzz.

Bridesmaids star Maya Rudolph is another example of a great female comedic actress. She’s now starring on NBC’s Up All Night alongside of Will Arnett and Christina Applegate. She is an awesome comedian: she even stole the show when she impersonated Lady Gaga in Lonely Islands’ “It’s OK if it’s in a Three Way” at the Emmy’s on Sunday.

Whitney Cummings went from just being invited to roasts to hosting MTV’s New Year’s Special this past year to having 2 must see TV shows of her own premiering on NBC! She has amazing comic timing! Look out for these ladies; you can learn a lot from them.
