I saw a sneak preview of the new romantic comedy The Five Year Engagement: it’s making a debut at New York’s Tribeca film festival this April.

This romantic comedy was really funny too! It’s by the producers of the hit comedy Bridesmaids. It’s all about the ins and outs of an engaged couples’ trials and tribulations.  It’s one of the films opens soon at Tribeca’s Film festivals screenings, which is for independent, artsy film premieres. Both stars, Jason and Emily, were developed and scripted beautifully. You really got to know how they were feeling, thinking, and going through the entire film. It’s a must see!

Don’t miss the premiere of the new E! show Scouted, which premieres tonight, Monday, November 28th at 10pm ET/PT on E!.

Scott Lips is the main scout of the show. Summer is here and swimsuit season has begun. 

If you’re always on the go, be sure to carry a bag of raw veggies in your bag to snack on when you’re hungry.  If you go all day without eating, you are more likely to overeat at the end of the day, which is the worst time to be indulging.  Raw almonds make a great snack food too.  They are packed with protein and can be very filling.

Always remember to eat breakfast.  You need food in your body in the beginning of the day to give you energy and give you calories to burn off throughout your day.  But try to make small adjustments to help you reach your weight loss goals.  Eat egg whites instead of eggs.  Choose skim milk over creamer in your coffee.  These little adjustments throughout out your day can make a huge difference and will get you feeling fit and healthy for the summer.

We’ve all been there: the grueling-sharpen-your-#2-pencil & fill in the bubbles in 30 minutes…SAT time!

What does this say about our culture and the budding geniuses we are producing in high schools nationwide? Even the SAT gods are itching to dissect the o-so-controversial medium of reality TV. Some bookworm students —akin to the Gossip Girl chracter Nelly Yuki–burst into tears upon seeing this question…taking pride in their choice of Kafka over the Kardashians. But kids, reality TV is unavoidable. If you want to have astute opinions, you need to be schooled in pop culture too. There’s no shame in it–reality TV is an unavoidable phenomenon and its affects are quite fascinating once you take away the foolishness of it & look at the science of it.

Angela Garcia, executive director of the SAT program, said she did not think it was unfair to ask that question of students who had “neither the time nor inclination to watch Mike Sorrentino on Jersey Shore, or Kim Kardashian on Kourtney & Kim Take New York. The primary goal of the essay prompt is to give students an opportunity to demonstrate their writing skills.”
