It’s pilot season and we have  the news on the four broadcast networks–NBC, CBS, the CW &, and ABC–who are developing new scripted dramas and comedies in hopes of becoming the next primetime hit. The CW picked up six pilots including Hart of a Dixie starring Rachel Bilson. She will play a New York City doctor who re-locates to a small southern town filled with eccentric characters. CBS  picked up two drama pilots including Ringer starring former Buffy the Vampire star, Sarah Michelle Gellar. Ringer is about a troubled young woman on the run who hides out by living the life of her wealthy twin sister, until she learns her sibling’s life has a bounty on it as well.
