For instance, Robert Pattinson got his first Hollywood fill in 2005’s Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire after acting in school plays. Kristen Stewart landed her first major film role in 2002 as Jodie Foster’s diabetic daughter in the thriller Panic Room after getting discovered in a school play.Taylor Lautner competed as a martial artist and was in the 2003 U.S. Karate Open! Kellan Lutz was a struggling actor until he landed his Twilight role: Before he had only appeared on an eight-episode arc in Lisa Kudrow’s short-lived 2005 HBO sitcom The Comeback.  Ashely Greene was an apiring model from Jacksonville, Forida, who was told she wouldn’t get anywhere because of her short 5′4” stature. Cam Gigandet got his Hollywood break playing a bad boy on the popular teen drama The O.C.
