It’s that time of year again where pop culture fanatics from all over the country tune into the MTV VMAs. I am very fortunate to have worked the 2006 VMA’s & attended the show in 2008. It was definitely one of my favorite productions to be a part of. However, my job had nothing to do with my background as a Casting Director or my involvement at MTV. I volunteered at the 2006 VMAs as a talent escort for Shakira.

In many ways, this experience was a lot more exciting than being an attendee of the show. My job was to escort Shakira’s band through Radio City Music Hall for rehearsal and the live event.
