We’ve been talking about the upcoming Disney feature film Secretariat for a while now. On Sunday hundreds showed up for a casting call to be a part of this new Disney hit starring Diane Lane and John Malkovich. Filming is set to start this week in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Last week on InstantCast we told you that 4000 extras are needed on-set this film…click here to see the casting call. No auditions took place on Sunday, but those interested in being an extra waited in huge lines with hundreds of other wannabe Disney stars.

Secretariat is one of many movies that has chosen Louisiana as a film location due to the state’s low tax incentives. Anyone who wasn’t able to make it to the casting call, can still sign-up to be an extra through InstantCast!
