You’ve probably already heard the buzz about Oliver Stone’s follow-up to his critically acclaimed film Wall Street. Well, now you can be a part of it! In this highly-anticipated sequel, Michael Douglas will reprise his Oscar-winning role as Gordon Gekko.

Shia LaBeouf will play an upcoming trader who’s trying to pin the death of his mentor (Frank Langella) on a conniving hedge fund manager (Josh Brolin).

Shia’s character also happens to be engaged to Gekko’s estranged daughter Winnie… so you can bet that he’ll be spun into the Gordon Gekko web!

While you were watching fireworks and enjoying a nice family barbecue, two summer blockbusters tied at the box office! It was Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox vs. Ray Romano and Queen Latifah as Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs both made $42.5 million this weekend! While 4th of July weekend is always huge for moviegoers–Will Smith as Hancock won the crown last year–no one could have predicted these results.
