jamielynnsiglerProducers have announced that the lovely Jamie-Lynn Sigler will join the cast of Ugly Betty for its fourth season! She’ll play Daniel’s (Eric Mabius) assistant, taking over Betty’s (America Ferrera) old job.

Rumor has it that Jamie-Lynn’s character will be spiritual and wonked out–sounds like as much fun for her as it will be for us! You’ll recognize Jamie-Lynn as Meadow, Tony’s daughter on The Sopranos.

More recently, she’s appeared on Saturday Night Live and as herself on Entourage–as Jerry Ferrara’s on- and off-screen girlfriend! If you think you have what it takes to act on this ABC hit, apply to our Ugly Betty casting call right now!

As I watched it today, I couldn’t help but laugh when the bike messenger I cast said two rather simple words toward the end of the episode. And they were delivered perfectly!

But the bike messenger was only supposed to be an extra, when he was cast and came in for the audition. Read the rest of this entry »
